Background and Professional Focus
Viggy Lauer is a Licensed Associate Counselor at The Integrative Counseling Center and a teacher at Torah Day School of Phoenix. His clinical work focuses on therapy for men and men’s issues, including the emotional, relational, and personal challenges that can arise throughout different stages of life. He works with adults, teens, and preteens, providing a warm, collaborative space where they can feel heard, understood, and free to explore their experiences without judgment.

Viggy works with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, grief, and life transitions. His integrative approach draws from humanistic, psychodynamic, existential, and cognitive-behavioral therapies, with a trauma-informed and strengths-based foundation. He also incorporates meaning, values, spirituality, and personal growth into therapy.

Viggy’s work combines deeper exploration with practical tools. Therapy may involve understanding how past experiences and patterns continue to shape the present, developing greater emotional awareness and regulation, strengthening relationships, and finding new ways to approach challenges. His goal is to help clients not only find relief, but also develop greater insight, clarity, and the capacity for meaningful, lasting change.
