Gedale Fenster says, "If you have a problem you need a new perspective or procedure…”
It could be that the very reason we can’t see the solution to our problem is that we're looking through the same lens that created it. We must look at our problems in a new way to get the perspective and understanding we need to solve them. We all know the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results and much in the same way, we can't expect our problems to simply go away if we are doing the same things that may have created them. One technique we can use is to ask ourselves, "Is this useful, is this helping?" and if the answer is no, we know that that thought or action is something we should work on stopping and replacing with something more beneficial and helpful to us.
What are your thoughts and what do you find to be most effective when tackling a problem or trying to see it from a better viewpoint?
